Sponsors Day and the ’99 Premiership Reunion had big numbers in support of our Trober teams last Saturday with plenty of highlights from the day down at the Tony Sheehan Oval.
Senior Men put the foot down and start firing on all cylinders with a massive win.
A big day for the Trobers with three wins, including the Senior Women’s first of the season and the Senior Men winning with a kick after the siren.
The Senior Women put up a strong fight under lights on Friday night, as the men’s team fall short again in a close battles.
The Senior Men knocked off the undefeated Eley Park, while the Reserve Men and U19 Men proceeded with two thrilling matches.
The Women and U19 Men moved divisions which saw the Trobers play four thrilling battles but unfortunately only the Reserve Men went home with the four points this round.
Our Senior and Reserve Men had the bye while our U19 Men played Aquinas under lights on the Friday night and the Women played away with just the one team.
Only one win of five for the Trobers with the Reserve Men registering their first win under new coaches Laz and Squeak.
Two victories on the opening round for the Trobers on the new Tony Sheehan Oval in front of family and friends to kickstart season 2019.
