The Senior Men bounce back in emphatic style against top-of-the-table (and undefeated) Swinburne University while the Reserve Men suffer their first loss and the Senior Women are cruelled by a run of injuries.
It was a reality check for the Senior Men, a comfortable win to further cement top spot for the Reserve Men, and a celebration for the Senior Women with Steph Castagnini’s 50th game milestone but a loss nonetheless.
It was a dominating and ruthless, four-quarter display by the Senior Men against Eley Park Sharks, a dissatisfying win via forfeit for the Reserve Men, and a disappointing loss for the Senior Women against AJAX at Moorleigh Community Reserve in Mordialloc.
Two of our three teams faced off against top of the table sides this weekend with two wins the eventual outcome. A pleasing day was topped off with a very successful first major social function of the season – iPod Shuffle Night.

A mixed bag on the opening day of the 2022 Season with the Senior Women beaten by a strong Oakleigh side, the Reserve Men dominating to win by 9 goals at Masala in Dandenong, and the Senior Men edging out Masala in the final quarter after a typically close encounter on a windy and wet afternoon.
The pre-season comes to an end with round one only days away.
With the return of community sport after Lockdown 5.0, both Men’s teams faced St Johns OC at home on Tony Sheehan Oval. The Reserves scored a comfortable 72 point win while the Seniors were edged out by 13 points!
It was a very tough day in a VERY cold office on Saturday as both Men’s teams suffered heavy defeats against well drilled South Melbourne Districts sides.
A tough weekend for both our Senior teams, while the Reserve Men score a comfortable 50-point win against St Johns at Thomas Carroll Reserve in Dandenong.

Past Players Day was a huge success with close to 80 past players in attendance for the 88/89 Premiership Reunion and the Women’s Team of the Decade. On-field the Reserve Men made it four wins in a row, while the Senior Women celebrated the day with another win.
A tough day out in freezing cold and wet conditions for the Trobers but the Reserve Men held on for their third win in a row.
Alain ‘Mean Al’ Baillie plays his 100th game in a wet weather slog, the girls get back to back wins and the Trobers celebrate with the Annual Ball that night.
Trober girls start to hit their stride with a comfortable win on the road, but the U19 boys struggled to score away in the mud.
