Trobers re-commit to 2021 season for women’s side

The La Trobe University Football Club proudly announces the re-commitment of key pieces for the 2021 women’s football
season.

Jaryd Coghill has been re-appointed as coach of the women’s senior team for 2021. Jaryd has been coach of the women’s side since 2017 and the club is excited to see Jaryd going around again next year. Also re-committing to the club is three time best and fairest winner Kate Bond. Kate has captained the Trobers for the past three seasons and will be a valuable asset for the team yet again next year.

Other players who have re-committed to the Trobers in 2021 include two time best and fairest runner-up Steph Castagnini, representative footballer Teresa D’Angelo, Caitlin Ross, Amy Dunn, Elise Freeman, Charlotte Croome, Kate Fox, Hericka Bruna and Sherise Scicluna. We can’t wait to see the girls out on the track again for a positive outlook into next season.

For the month of November, the girls will be participating in the club’s Movember team and will each be running a total of 60 kilometres or more to raise funds for men’s mental health. We encourage all Trober members, former players and supporters to get behind the team and take part in this great cause via the link below:
